Hand-drafted analysis diagrams depicting the figure/ground, repetition, structure, and symmetry connections within the fern species, Filincinphyta. The diagrams were used to create the final composite drawing that captured the plant's essence to be used as a catalyst for the luminary study. 

Inspired by the Filincinophyta, The Venation Light combines the delicate and natural form of the fern with a precise, structured assembly that involved slots and notching. When illuminated, the vein construction of the fern is revealed through a shadow behind the light's main panels.
